December 25 - North Yorkshire Stronger Communities Inspire Fund - Grant

As a voluntary group, we share many peoples’ concerns about climate change and like other communities around the UK, we want to take an initiative by reducing our carbon emissions and providing the added benefit of reduced energy costs.
The next step in our planned approach is to become a community benefit society (CBS) so that we can apply for capital funding. We are pleased to report that the North Yorkshire Stronger Communities Inspire Fund has granted us £790 to help us do just that.  We are very grateful to them.

September 25 - York University students to assist our start up.

From October this year we will have a number of students from York University working with us to help with community engagement.  The students will be with us for ten weeks.
